Please join the Civic Club for our meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 7:30pm, at the Woods Center! New LOWA BOD President, Mike Rugless, will be discussing the budgeting processing currently underway for our next fiscal year, as well as the Board’s goals. Other LOWA BOD members are: Jim Hutchison, Vice President; Louisa Rucker, Secretary; JoAnn Zwickl, Treasurer, Olive Kelly, Director; and Nigel Goodwin, Director.
Mr. Rugless and his wife Brenda, married for nearly 50 years, are 10+ year residents of Lake of the Woods. Mike has been active within the Association as a member of the ECC from 2005-2012 (serving as Chair from 2006-2012), member of the Quality management Council from 2008-2009, member of the Ad hoc Boat Safety Committee from 2010-2011, and member and Chair of Board of Examiners for the Boat Operators Safety Course from 2011-2012. Most recently, Mike was elected to the LOWA BOD in 2012 to serve out an 8 month unexpired term and was then elected for a 3 year term in 2012. Mike served as Treasurer until September 2014, when we was elected as President.
Get a better understanding of how the budgeting process works and the goals the BOD has identified. There will be time allotted for questions, and the meeting is open to all residents. We hope to see you there!
