It is time for the 4th concert in the Sunset Concert Series at the Point, featuring the Island Gerry Duo; Island Gerry and Matty D! The concert will take place Friday, August 28 from 7-9PM at Clubhouse Point.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist from Fredericksburg, VA. Gerry Maddox, (Island Gerry) started a solo career in early 2001, Gerry has performed for audiences from the shores of Maryland, to the Florida Keys and Mexico. He’s also performed at several events for Jimmy Buffett shows at Jiffy Lube Live (formerly Nissan Pavilion). Performing music by Bob Marley, Kenny Chesney, Eric Clapton, John
Mayer and Jimmy Buffett to name a few. His music is often described as “Island Rock” but consist of a variety of styles, Rock, Reggae, R&B and Country.
Throughout his solo career, Gerry has performed with other artist, Kimber Cleveland, John Patti, Kara and Matty D and the Calypso Nuts. In 2009 the musical collaboration of Island Gerry and keyboard player Ed Lambert formed Ocean Drive, creating an original style of “Classic Rock” and “Coastal Music.”

July 2015 Real Estate Statistics for Lake of the Woods By Pat Licata REALTOR® In the month of July, a total of 29 homes were sold. 24 were standard sale, 5 between $100-$175K, 10 between $175-250K, 4 between $250-350K, 3 between $350-500K, and 2 over $500K. There was one short sale in July, in the $100-175K price range. There were a total of 4 foreclosures, 2 under $100k, 1 in the $100-175K price range, and 1 in the $175-250K range. One lot also sold, and it closed for under $100K.

Sweetbriar Pool is going to the dogs Saturday, August 29! From 3-6PM the pool will be open exclusively for pups to enjoy. You must pre-register your pooches by calling 540-972-9680 or by emailing email@example.com, and space is limited so don’t delay. Proof of current vaccinations will be required, and all dogs must be leashed when not in the water. Prepare for a dog-gone good time!
