First Friday Music Series is back, happening the first Friday of the month, from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Town Hall Steps on Main Street in Gordonsville. The Suitables will kick-off the first Friday on June 3rd, followed by Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike Bank on July 1st. August 5th entertainers will be Hard Swimmin’ Fish followed by Cheap Whiskey on September 2nd. Craft soda, ice cream, food and merchant events will be offered and happening at the same time. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the town and some free music! When summer comes to an end, the music doesn’t have to stop. Saturday, October 8th from 11am-4pm will be the Main Street Market and there will be live music performed by Chicken Head Blues Band. Plan to browse the art and craft vendors, special merchant held events and food trucks! Here comes winter…and here comes Santa to Gordonsville! Saturday, December 10th will be the Holiday Market from 11am to 4pm that will feature all the greatness from previous events (artists, crafts, vendors, food, etc.) plus SANTA!
