Support Lion’s Club 2021 Winter Clothing Drive!

The Lion’s Wilderness Food Pantry, sponsored by the Lake of the Woods Lions and Lioness Club, is collected clean, gently used, or new warm clothing items!

They are looking for: coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, and especially children’s items: children’s coats, hats, and gloves.

Donations will be accepted at the following drop off stations:

Our Licata Group Office (36111 Goodwin Dr, Locust Grove, VA 22508, across from LOW’s front gate between CVS & AT&T in the Food Lion shopping center)

Lake of the Woods Clubhouse

Fareways/Pro Shop entrance

Edward Jones Investment (Across from LOW Gate)

Lions Yard Sale (Saturdays, 8 am – 11 am; Velona Building)

Lake of the Woods Church – Box Outside of Worship Center

With the help of our community, we hope to help as many needy families as we can! Volunteers will distribute the winter clothing on Saturday, October 30th, 10am – 12pm at the Lion’s Wilderness Food Pantry (located on State Road 20 in the Locust Grove Town Center).

Eat at Harry’s to Benefit the Wilderness Food Pantry!

Monday, November 19th the clubs are partnering up with Harry’s Alehouse to help raise money for The Wilderness Food Pantry. The Wilderness Food Pantry provides food for those in need, especially during the holiday season, which can be a more difficult time for some residents due to various reasons. The LOW Lions & Lionness Club will receive 10% of all sales at Harry’s Alehouse from 4pm to closing at 9pm that Monday. Visiting Harry’s during that time on Monday is a fun and delicious way to help support your local community residents that may not be as fortunate. 
Feel free to spread the word – invite your family, friends and neighbors for a dinner and a drink over at Harry’s!
