Don’t let your fur-babies feel left out this Easter, bring them to a fun Dog Easter Egg Hunt on April 9th at Maury Park (located at the corner of William St and Kenmore Avenue) in Downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia at 1pm. Dress up Fido in their best dressed to enter the doggie costume contest! There will be prizes for best dressed. Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old to participate. A small dog area will also be available for dogs up to 15 lbs. All dog parents must sign a release acknowledging their dog(s) are current on shots and are healthy! Lake Youth Foundation (LYF) is hosting an Easter Egg hunt at Sweetbriar Park (Sweetbriar Rd, Locust Grove 22508) on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. The event will take place from 12:30pm – 1:30pm. There will be 4 age groups with specific time frames as shown below: 2 years old and under 1 pm 3 – 5 years 1:10p 6 – 8 years 1:20p and 9 – 12 years 1:30p Check-in begins at 12:30pm and they ask that you do not arrive prior to 12:30pm. The Easter Bunny will be there at 12:30pm as well to take photos with you and your little ones! He will remain there after the hunt for another photo opportunity. Don’t forget your cameras! Please also bring a BASKET for each child you will have participating. Registration for the Easter Egg hunt deadline is Saturday, March 24 so register here NOW! If there is bad weather, the egg hunt will be cancelled, however the Easter Bunny will still be available for pictures & each child will receive a treat. This event is free but they will accept donation to help fund other events as well as their scholarship program.
