Try the German Food and Beer while supporting the local community clubs. Golf starts at 9:00am and the band will be playing from 1pm-5pm. Sign up to play golf at Pro Shop, it will cost $40 per person. There will be a 9 Hole Scramble, Moon Bounce for the kids, corn bag toss, kiddies corn bag toss, and of course musical entertainment by Oompah Band. On Saturday, October 2nd the Lake of the Woods Community will be hosting their community yard sale.

The LOWS Pools Committee is hosting an adult beer & pretzel fundraiser on Saturday, August 28th. The fun is scheduled to start at 7pm and end by 10pm at the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse pool!
The entry fee of $20 covers 1 individual and includes 2 glasses of beer and snacks. Additional beer may be purchased for $5 per glass. Tickets must be purchased in advance online here by August 25! Rain make-up date will be September 3rd and lifeguards will be on duty!

Pool hours for Clubhouse pool are: May 29 – September 6th from 11AM to 7PM, daily. Sweetbriar Pool hours are 1PM – 8PM and are closed on Wednesdays for swim meets.
Snack bars will be open at both pools for yummy snacks and treats for all, featuring new daily specials at the Clubhouse pool.
Enjoy different features at each pool such as a diving board, a slide and a separate wading pool for younger children at the Sweetbriar pool. The Clubhouse pool features an entry ramp with railings, lap lanes, and a splash area with a beach-like entrance!

In lieu of the LOW Annual Members Holiday Party, the LOW Association is proud to announce their Holiday Home Decorating Contest! Registered homes will be placed on a map available for view at LOWA.org to allow community members to view and tour the homes. The deadline to register your home will be on Friday, December 4th and the deadline to decorate your home will be on December 10th. The Garden Club will begin judging homes on December 11th, and will end on the 13th with the winner being announced on the 14th, and published in Lake Currents on the 18th.
Winners will be chosen from one of four different categories, and will receive gift cards to local businesses. The four categories include:
