The LOW Players Club is performing a musical Christmas this 2021 season and tickets are on sale, NOW! This will be performed by the highly sought-after ShowStoppers! What a perfect way to celebrate the holidays this year. It will be a musical celebration of Christmas and it’s meaning. Performances will be held December 16th, 17th and 18th at 7:30PM along with matinées with the showing beginning at 2PM on December 18th and 19th. In lieu of the LOW Annual Members Holiday Party, the LOW Association is proud to announce their Holiday Home Decorating Contest! Registered homes will be placed on a map available for view at LOWA.org to allow community members to view and tour the homes. The deadline to register your home will be on Friday, December 4th and the deadline to decorate your home will be on December 10th. The Garden Club will begin judging homes on December 11th, and will end on the 13th with the winner being announced on the 14th, and published in Lake Currents on the 18th.
Winners will be chosen from one of four different categories, and will receive gift cards to local businesses. The four categories include:

Grab your clubs and mugs, because its time for the 2019 Schutzenfest at the 9th annual October Festival in Lake of the Woods; hosted by the LOW Thursday Men’s Industrial Golf League! Please join The Licata Group at the LOW Woods Center on Saturday, October 19th for a day full of German food, beer and and their very own Oompah Band! 11AM to 2PM there will be a car show, with the Flag Raising Ceremony starting at 12PM. Following the Flag Raising Ceremony will be the Family Patriotic Parade on the Point at 1pm.
The Festival on Clubhouse Point will feature rides, treats, and fun for the family from 12 to 4pm. Don’t miss the Water Ski Club Show from 6 pm to 7:30pm, and the finale of the evening…fireworks from the top of Veterans Dam starting at 9 PM (or dusk)! Please be extra careful around the lake that day, as there will be parade activity, road closures, and lots of traffic on the roads, as well as on the lake itself. Happy 4th (on the 6th), everyone!!!
