The Lion’s Wilderness Food Pantry, sponsored by the Lake of the Woods Lions and Lioness Club, is collected clean, gently used, or new warm clothing items!
They are looking for: coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, and especially children’s items: children’s coats, hats, and gloves.
Donations will be accepted at the following drop off stations:

With the help of our community, we hope to help as many needy families as we can! Volunteers will distribute the winter clothing on Saturday, October 30th, 10am – 12pm at the Lion’s Wilderness Food Pantry (located on State Road 20 in the Locust Grove Town Center).

School starts August 11, 2021, this year and the LOW Lioness Lions Club is holding its annual School Supply Drive to support the Locust Grove Primary & Elementary Schools. They help these 2 schools by providing the necessary supplies to ensure a successful school year for the teachers and students alike.
Donations will be collected at the Lake of the Woods FRONT GATE on July 10th and July 24th from 9AM to 1PM ORyou may bring your donations in Monday – Friday July 12th through July 23rd from 9AM – 5PM at our Licata Group Office (located in the Food Lion shopping center, between AT&T and CVS)OR you may donate a check for the Lionesses to purchase the items listed in the first flyer. Please make checks payable to: “LOW LIONESS FOUNDATION” and write “SCHOOL SUPPLY” in the check memo section. Please MAIL those checks to: PO BOX 811, Locust Grove VA 22508.

Eat at Harry’s to Benefit the Wilderness Food Pantry!
Monday, November 19th the clubs are partnering up with Harry’s Alehouse to help raise money for The Wilderness Food Pantry. The Wilderness Food Pantry provides food for those in need, especially during the holiday season, which can be a more difficult time for some residents due to various reasons. The LOW Lions & Lionness Club will receive 10% of all sales at Harry’s Alehouse from 4pm to closing at 9pm that Monday. Visiting Harry’s during that time on Monday is a fun and delicious way to help support your local community residents that may not be as fortunate.
