Forecast at the Point is a little “Chili” on October 25th, so get “hop”ing and get your groove on!!!!
Mark your calendar! We will be heating things up at the Point on Sunday, October 25th, from 3-6pm with a chili cook-off benefitting our own Fire and Rescue!
The cook-off will be held from 3-4pm. Fire and Rescue volunteers will be cooking up their very own recipes for your tasting pleasure! A $5 donation is suggested to tickle your taste buds. Radio broadcast of the Redskin game will be from 3-4 so you diehard fans don’t miss a play. The cook-off winner will be announced at 4, and then the concert begins! Reunion Band, with special guest star, Nashville recording artist Katy Benko, will provide the tunes until 6!
Oh…I almost forgot! A beer truck will be present to cool off those taste buds in-between tastings but it’s strictly BYOT (bring your own tums).
Fire and Rescue will be holding a 50/50 raffle! Now that you’ve whet your appetite, enjoy dinner at the Clubhouse from 6-8pm, where 15% of food sales will be donated back to Fire and Rescue! Pick up your coupon at the F&R table to present to your server at dinner.
The musical entertainment is proudly provided by Alcova Mortgage, Lakeside Title and Escrow, Licata Group Realtors, The Ostlund Team, Kathy and Bernie Merritt, and Paul and Elaine Zembruski. A special thank you to Dan Cianci for all of his help on the event!
