The Licata Group is excited to support Project Turn OrangeBlue this year in Locust Grove, Virginia.
This is Ben & Sharon Corner’s 5th Annual Project: Turn OrangeBlue and we want to assist with making it another successful year!
There are shirts that can be ordered that read: “They can’t change who they are, we need to change how we treat them” which was said by Ben Corner when he started this project.
Shirts come in medium & large in children sizes for $10.
Adult sizes: Small through XL for $10
and 2XL – 4XL for $12
Orders will be taken from March 12 through March 26th and will be picked up by 12 PM on Monday, March 26th. You can sign up for t-shirt order at Licata Group’s Real Estate office located at: 36111 Goodwin Dr, Locust Grove Virginia. Checks must be left with the order and made out to: Brandy Printing. T-shirts will be delivered the week of Spring Break or Monday, April 9th.
Wear it BLUE will be Wednesday, April 11th.
Local business Doughlicious Bakery will have BLUE doughnuts on April 11th and the proceeds from ordering BLUE DOUGHNUTS will go to Project: Turn Orange Blue! The Blue box is $13 per dozen! Orders can be called directly into Doughlicious or request your order via email to Ben Corner at: bencrnr@gmail.com. Pre-ordering is HIGHLY suggested as last year, they were sold out by NOON!

Short synopsis of the play from the Lake of the Woods website: “One plucky community theater is about to produce a show called Murder Most Foul: a new ‘murder mystery play’. Gerry, the director/theatre manager had no idea what disasters awaited her: the plot doesn’t really have a murder and to top it off the playwright keeps changing the story and script!”

Lake Youth Foundation (LYF) is hosting an Easter Egg hunt at Sweetbriar Park (Sweetbriar Rd, Locust Grove 22508) on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. The event will take place from 12:30pm – 1:30pm. There will be 4 age groups with specific time frames as shown below: 2 years old and under 1 pm 3 – 5 years 1:10p 6 – 8 years 1:20p and 9 – 12 years 1:30p Check-in begins at 12:30pm and they ask that you do not arrive prior to 12:30pm. The Easter Bunny will be there at 12:30pm as well to take photos with you and your little ones! He will remain there after the hunt for another photo opportunity. Don’t forget your cameras! Please also bring a BASKET for each child you will have participating. Registration for the Easter Egg hunt deadline is Saturday, March 24 so register here NOW! If there is bad weather, the egg hunt will be cancelled, however the Easter Bunny will still be available for pictures & each child will receive a treat. This event is free but they will accept donation to help fund other events as well as their scholarship program.
