The 29th Annual award-winning wine festival is coming up! Saturday, May 4th 11am – 6pm and Sunday, May 5th 11am – 5pm. It will be held at the Market at Grelen located at: 15091 Yager Rd, Somerset VA 22972.
Tickets are $20 in advance (until May 3rd at 12AM) and include unlimited wine tastings! (Advance ticket purchases will also get a free Orange Uncorked wine bag!) In addition to the pre-sale tickets, you can also purchase a designated driver ticket for $15 each or reserve larger party tables,VIP Party Packs and Tent Packages starting at $295 each going up. Renew, Energize and Donate (RED) is Keller Williams’ annual day of service. It is an opportunity for The Licata Group Real Estate Team to give back to our local community and show gratitude to those we serve.
Our plan is to have a Food Drive for the LIONS CLUB WILDERNESS FOOD PANTRY and also for the ORANGE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER. We will be accepting donations of non perishable food items for our neighbors and four legged friends at our Locust Grove Office. Additionally, The Licata Group Team Members will spend some time walking the animals at the Orange County Animal Shelter as part of our service!
Please feel free to stop by our office 7:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, between May 3rd and May 9th to drop off your donations.
On May 9th, we will have containers to gather the donated food items. We welcome all from our community to stop by!

the security gate.

Did you know there are 43 designated dark sky parks in the US? Of those 43 there are now 2 in Virginia! Staunton River State Park has been a designated dark sky park in Virginia. Next month the James River State Park in Buckingham County will be joining the International Dark-Sky Association!
James River State Park is located at: 104 Green Hill Dr, Gladstone VA 24553 and has outdoor lighting policy to minimize light pollution. According to the Free Lance Star, this project was lead by Lora Callahan as an effort to win a Girl Scout Gold Award.
