The annual, highly anticipated Fredericksburg Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 3rd at 5:30 PM. Viewing the parade, locations along the route are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Check out the route on the map below. It’s completely free for the public to attend, plan to come early (before 5pm) and stay late! While pets are permitted, they are discouraged due to the large crowds. This is a rain-or-shine event so dress warmly for any anticipated weather as the date quickly approaches. Streets will be closed to all traffic beginning at 3:30 PM, while parking restrictions will begin at 2pm along the parade route with towing enforced. Getting hungry?? Downtown restaurants will be open for food and drink before, during, and after the parade.
To participate in the parade, they are currently full but there is a waiting list you may join if your company would like to have a float or walk in the parade. More information on the parade including the waiting list for vendors can be found here.

Spread the Christmas spirit early this year by adopting an Elderly and/or disabled adult through the Orange County Department of Social Services. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to participate! As summer has begun to wind down, the fall activities have started to arise! Did you know that Liberty Mills Farm offers the largest corn maze in Virginia at 34 acres?? Their maze consists of four separate trails perfect for spending the day adventuring through each or picking the best one to fit your group. The Story Maze is a quick 30-minute trail with story stations to help navigate your way. The Trivia Maze provides a medium, slightly more difficult trail, lasting approximately 45-60 minutes, and offers trivia based on the theme of the year. The Hole Punch Maze really takes it to the next level as this could take you 2-3 hours to find all 21 stations to get your card punched and also find the yummy ice cream along the way! The last and final maze is the Myster Maze with no maps, only you, your company, and a sense of adventure, the length of time varies greatly, however, plan to spend at least an hour here! The Corn Mazes will open for the season on Saturday, September 10th, 2022. Tickets for all the different corn mazes may be purchased here once Liberty Mills has opened the tickets for purchase.
