Bring your friendly, swim-loving canines to the Sweetbriar Pool on Sunday, September 11th from 1 PM – 3 PM. There is no registration fee, but donations are welcome and highly encouraged. Donations from a Shelter’s “Need” list or a check made payable to Orange County Animal Shelter will be accepted. Although there is no registration fee, pre-registration is required see more at lowa.org. Registration also requires proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper, and kennel cough. No HUMANs swimming are allowed in the pool while the dogs are swimming, at any time. Space is limited so be sure to register! Bring your furry four-legged friends for a dip in the pool. The LOW Lioness Lions Club holds an annual School Supply Drive to support the Locust Grove Primary and Elementary Schools. They help these two schools by providing supplies needed to ensure a successful school year for both teachers and students. Donations will be collected at the LAKE OF THE WOODS FRONT GATE, Saturday, July 23rd from 9AM to 12PM, or you may donate a check for the Lionesses to purchase the items listed below. Please mail checks to PO BOX 811, Locust Grove VA 22508, please make checks payable to “LOW Lioness Foundation” and write “School Supply” in the check memo selection. Donations will also be accepted at The Licata Group’s Office, across from LOW Front Gate and in between AT&T and CVS in the Food Lion shopping center. Licata Group’s hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 5:30 PM and will accept donations from Monday, July 18th through Friday, July 22nd. Please donate ONLY the items listed below:
