Lake of the Woods Players Club will be performing Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. This murder mystery play with a twist ending will be directed by Barbara Cochran.
Performances are set for April 5, 6, 12, and 13th at 7:30PM. As well as April 7th, and 14th at 2PM!
There will be an OPENING NIGHT SPECIAL for April 5th show, with tickets at only $15!

Saturday, March 23rd from 8:30AM – 2PM at the Locust Grove Middle School. (6368 Flat Run Rd, Locust Grove VA 22508).
There will be 49 vendor spaces with crafts, art, jewelry, authors, pottery, cosmetics, Flea Market items, a photographer and more. The Lionesses will have a wonderful bake sale, concession stand including pulled pork BBQ, and several tables for “Attic Treasures”.

Spring has begun! The Lake of the Woods Equestrian Center is open for drop-in lessons and trail rides. The Equestrian Center is located at 100 Tally Ho Lane in Lake of the Woods, Virginia.
Their general hours on Saturday & Sunday are 9AM – 5PM.
Lessons or Pony Rides begin at 10AM and 11AM. While the Trail Rides begin at 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM, if no trail ride has been scheduled during those start times, pony rides will be available.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time for a ride or a class as space is limited! Lessons and pony rides are offered rain or shine in the covered ring! What a fun, engaging way to spend your weekend with your little ones, especially if you or your child(ren) have a huge soft spot for horses and ponies! Before you leave the Equestrian Center, you’ll already want to come back! They do offer boarding services as well, so should you or anyone in your family be interested in owning a horse, this is a great opportunity to speak with the Center about their boarding options. For one day, Saturday, April 27th Horton Vineyards, located at: 6399 Spotswood Trail, Gordonsville VA 22942 will be hosting a free Wizarding Winery event! There will be indoor and outdoor games, shopping opportunities with different vendors, complete with make your own wand stations and much more! No tickets will be necessary to purchase or RSVP for.
This magical event will take place from 12pm to 4pm and open to everyone! You are encouraged and welcomed to bring tents and chairs for your group to set up outside as well as dress up and participate in all the activities. There will be Medieval Fantasies Company present dressed up and walking through the crowds for entertainment. The Bavarian Chef will also be at the Vineyard from 11AM – 4PM serving their best delicious dishes! Of course, it’s not complete without wonderful themed treats from Cocoa & Spice and Kilwins Charlottesville. So come thirsty, hungry, and ready for a fun Wizarding event!
