Culpeper Renaissance is bringing the Gnarly Culpeper block party and brew fest back on April 29th, 2023 in the Depot District in Downtown Culpeper from 12 pm – 5 pm. Live music entertainment featuring The Unsuitables as the opening act, followed by Full Moon Fever, a Tom Petty Tribute. There will be beer, cider, wine, food, and lawn games. November 14th through 20th, enjoy season offerings and specials at various downtown shops for their Holiday Preview Week. The storefronts will also be participating in a Holiday Store Front Decorating contest so be sure to check them out and vote for your favorite decorated store!

November 20th is the Holiday Open House with in-store specials ALL DAY and a band performance at Grass Rootes Porch from 1pm – 3pm followed by Santa Rides around Culpeper from 3pm – 4pm and the Community Tree Lighting 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Run for freedom! Celebrate Fourth of July this year at Culpeper Baptist Church (located at 318 West St Culpeper, VA 22701), where the Church is hosting a Freedom 5K run. Everyone is encouraged to participate including runners and fitness walkers. Register early to secure your t-shirt! There will be vendors for the racers, including 2 Sisters Coffee Truck, and more! The race will be held on Monday, July 4th beginning at 8:30 am, with 90 minutes of completion time allowed, so all participants must cross the finish line by 10:00 am. Visit the Belmont Farms Distillery located at 13490 Cedar Rd, Culpeper VA 22701 on Saturday between 10am and 5pm for a classic car and bike show! There will be crafters and various vendors on location, face painting, yummy food (of course!) and live entertainment!
The Distillery will have their gift shop open, and they will offer tours and tastings, so invite a friend for a fun event in Culpeper, Virginia! Admission is free to walk around and enjoy the day. If you’re interested in participating with your vehicle, the Cruise-In Car and Bike Show from 11am to 2pm, there is a donation registration fee of $10 per cart ad $5 per bike. The 3rd Thursdays are the new Fridays in Culpeper (at least during their Summer Concerts, brought to you by the Culpeper Renaissance, Inc.)! The first event is to start on Thursday, August 19th with The Reflex an 80s tribute band. They will offer a full-on retro experience with a diverse setlist of “MUST PLAY” 80s tunes.
Thursday, September 16th will feature a HIGH-energy show from En’Novation Band. They are a Richmond-based band with extremely well-seasoned singers and musicians, totaling decades of experience for your ears listening pleasure! They will be sure to light up the stage, so grab your dancing shoes, you won’t want to miss this performance.
Advanced tickets are $10 per concert and are available for purchase at various locations in Culpeper including Pepperberries (102 East Davis St), Museum of Culpeper History (113 South Commerce St.), and Oak View National Bank (405 James Madison Hwy). General admission will be available to purchase the day of the event, although a cost was not listed on their site. Kids will be FREE!
Pets and coolers WILL NOT be allowed, but picnic baskets are encouraged!
