Annual Fredericksburg Kids Expo returns to the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center (2371 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg VA) February 12 and 13th. Ready to take the kids out of the house for a fun filled day?! Grab the whole family to come out and learn, explore and play. Coming THIS January 21st through 23rd, 2022 at the Fredericksburg Exp & Conference Center will be Jurassic Quest, the largest and most realistic traveling dinosaur show in North America. There will be rides, activities, and more dinosaurs than ever before. The do expect tickets to sellout, so buy in advance to guarantee your time slot. Timed entries are required and allow all guest to enjoy their Quest in a safe and accessible self-paced environment, especially during these times. The average length of stay per quest is 2 to 3 hours and re-entry is not permitted. Their dinosaur exhibit includes OVER 100 dinosaurs that are true-to-detail and size. Among the dinosaurs you will find, a 50 foot long Megalodon, 60 ft long, Spinosaurus, 80 ft long Apatosaurus and their Gigantic LIFESIZE T-Rex! The rides include walking dinosaur rides and stationary dinosaur rides. Plan to pack socks for the kids if they will be jumping in the inflatables! Visit the Fredericksburg Nationals stadium (located at 42 Jackie Robinson Way, Fredericksburg VA 22401), Saturday January 15th, 2022 from 3pm – 5pm for a snowball fight! This event is held snow or shine and children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult the whole time. The snowball fight will be a free for all! There will be a kids area for children 10 and under to play safely. There will also be an organized snowball fight following the melee. The field will be split into 2 teams and the side with the least visual amount of snowballs on their side within 5 minutes wins the battle! There will be a variety of mini games to place like the snowball bucket toss, the snowball chin race and the snowball cup tower knockdown. Christmas was a little strange last year with covid rapid and keeping us all indoors in our homes.
