The event will include the sale of raffle tickets, indulge in this opportunity, and potentially be the grand prize winner of $2,500 cash! The tickets are priced at $1 and are going to be available in books of 25 from any department member at the selected retailers. This raffle draw also includes $1,000 for the 2nd prize, $500 for the 3rd prize, and $100 for the 4th and 5th prizes.

Everyone loves Taco Tuesday, but what about Taco and Beer Saturday? The FXBG Taco & Beer Festival will be taking place at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 13th, from 11 am to 4 pm. Briah also excelled as a student of the Henrico High School Center for the Arts, where she was a Dance major. Ms. Bebbs has also trained at L.A. Play, LaBrea Dance Studio, Joffrey Ballet Studio, and Chelsea’, a dance studio, Alvin Ailey, and she also attended the Governor School for Arts and Humanities at Radford University. After high school, she went on to perform with the Divine Elegance Dance Line and the illustrious dance program on the collegiate level at Virginia Union University. And she has worked with choreographers such as Diontey Michael, Tony Colden, Willie Hinton, Chris Gayle, and many others. She offers many other dance-style training as well, as she shares her love of dance by teaching from her many dance-style accomplishments.

It’s time to start planning for your Independence day celebration activities! Save the date for Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 for the Lake of the Woods’ Fourth of July Independence Day Celebration full of fun. What’s in store? Flag Ceremony, parade, activities on the point and of course, FIREWORKS!!!! Opening Ceremony is scheduled to being at 9:45AM at the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse parking lot, followed by the parade from 10am to noon that will begin on Yorktown Blvd all the way to the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse parking lot. The point activities shall began at noon time and end around 4pm. To settle into the night, the Ski Club will perform their show at 6pm on the Clubhouse dock followed by Fireworks at Veterans dam that are scheduled to begin promptly at dark, approximately at 9:15am!
