Lake of the Woods Players Club will be performing Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. This murder mystery play with a twist ending will be directed by Barbara Cochran.
Performances are set for April 5, 6, 12, and 13th at 7:30PM. As well as April 7th, and 14th at 2PM!

On Wednesday, April 17, at 7:00pm in the Clubhouse Great Hall, two guest speakers will address the art of organizing and decluttering our homes and methods for removal of the items in order to accomplish an easier way of life. Even if one’s home is the perfect fit, there still may be items that can be “released” for simpler living. For many people, the stress comes from not knowing how to take the first step of thinking through what should stay or go, and for others it may be not knowing how to sell or where to donate items no longer needed or wanted.

Linda Clevenger, Professional Organizer and Owner of Organization Direct, will be our first speaker. Linda has been helping homeowners downsize, right-size, purge, and eliminate items from their homes for over 11 years. She helps clients walk through the process of making decisions regarding the need to keep items and how it will impact life both now and in the future. As the spouse of a disabled Veteran, she is passionate about helping other Veterans and those who struggle with the day to day task of living a clutter-free life.

There will be 49 vendor spaces with crafts, art, jewelry, authors, pottery, cosmetics, Flea Market items, a photographer and more. The Lionesses will have a wonderful bake sale, concession stand including pulled pork BBQ, and several tables for “Attic Treasures”.

Spring has begun! The Lake of the Woods Equestrian Center is open for drop-in lessons and trail rides. The Equestrian Center is located at 100 Tally Ho Lane in Lake of the Woods, Virginia.
Their general hours on Saturday & Sunday are 9AM – 5PM.
Lessons or Pony Rides begin at 10AM and 11AM. While the Trail Rides begin at 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM, if no trail ride has been scheduled during those start times, pony rides will be available.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time for a ride or a class as space is limited! Lessons and pony rides are offered rain or shine in the covered ring! What a fun, engaging way to spend your weekend with your little ones, especially if you or your child(ren) have a huge soft spot for horses and ponies! Before you leave the Equestrian Center, you’ll already want to come back! They do offer boarding services as well, so should you or anyone in your family be interested in owning a horse, this is a great opportunity to speak with the Center about their boarding options. We are so happy to live in a great community that offers us a variety of amenities that you may not find elsewhere.
