Happy Halloween! Here’s the LOWdown on Halloween at the Lake! Trick or treating hours are 5-8PM. Treats on the Point will be available from 6PM-7PM, where trick-or-treaters can fill their bags along the path with residents dishing out the treats! People wanting to participate by handing out treats at the point should set up by 5:45PM.
Children will be arriving at 6pm! Signs and banners will be permitted, so this is a great chance to promote your group/club/organization! If you are not wanting to participate in trick-or-treat festivities, please turn your outside lights off. Trick-or-treaters, please pass by homes that have the outside lights off. Whether handing out candy or collecting it, come dressed for the occasion! 4th Annual Fundraiser for Living Water Community Clinic: Trees of Life Gala
Proceeds from the Gala, being held on Friday, November 16th will go directly to taking care of uninsured community neighbors. It may be for medical, emotional and spiritual needs. The Gala will include a special auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees and even other items such as trips, sports tickets, and hand crafted items, just to name a few. Tickets will be $50 each which will include: formal sit-down dinner, entertainment and the chance to participate in the auction. Tickets go on sale, Friday, September 28th. The festival will be held by the Lake of the Woods Golf Center on Saturday, October 20th. Golf will begin at 9 AM, sharp. Sign up at the Pro Shop to register to golf. The cost will be $35 per person. Festivities will be from 12:30pm to 5pm. The music is free for all to enjoy and will be performed by: Oompah Band. There will be German Food & Beer as well as prizes for the most skilled for the featured games that will be played.
