Each will give an opening speech and then followed by written questions submitted by the audience.

Coordinator Ron Kesner will be providing important information to us. He will present
the TRIAD programs administered by the Sheriff’s Office and its importance to
the safety of community as a whole and to its senior population. Deputy Kesner coordinates
senior citizen safety programs between the Sheriff’s Office, the State Attorney
Generals’ office and senior citizens groups and/or senior citizen services
organizations within the county of Orange. The purpose is to promote
senior citizen safety and help eliminate senior citizen victimization.
Deputy
Kesner is a native Virginian, having been born in Covington. He
possesses 37 years of continuous law enforcement service. He retired from
the Albemarle County Police Department in 2009 as a Master Police Officer,
Firearms Instructor, Driving Instructor, Bike Patrol Officer, Fatal Accident
Reconstructionist, Special Operations Group Member and Academy
Instructor. He also had worked for the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office for
10 years and operated the Marine Unit Patrol Boat on Lake Anna as one of my
duties. Deputy Kesner joined the Orange Co. Sheriff’s Office in April of
2019 to fill the position of TRIAD Coordinator.

Babes, Bluegrass & Brews: Sisters in Skydiving Event
Thrill seekers and spectators welcome!
Skydive Orange is hosting this event from Friday, July 6th through Sunday, July 8th from 8AM to 9PM, daily. Location: Skydive Orange: 11339 Bloomsbury Rd, Orange VA 22960
That means 3 full days of jumping from a plane. Whether you are experienced with skydiving or not, this is a great opportunity for skydiving veterans or beginners.
There will be Fireworks Saturday night at Booster Park (which is right across the street from the event).
Bluegrass Saturday night will be performed by Ragged Mountain String Band.
There will be plenty of brew to go around the campfire Saturday night as there will be 2 breweries in attendance!
Wigglestick Barbecue will be serving food all three days!
For one day ticket is: $35 per person

Join the VA Chamber of Commerce as they host the 43rd Annual Downtown Orange Street festival!!
When is this happening you ask? This event will take place from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, September 8th along Main Street in down Orange VA. This festival is free and completely open to the public.
There will be many different vendors that include artwork, handmade crafts, specialty food and drinks!
You can also enjoy the live music and beer garden in Taylor Park between 11am and 4pm for alcoholic beverages.
So come walk through this festival and bring a chair to stay for the live music in Taylor Park performance TO BE DETERMINED.
There are benches in the park but come prepared in case you don’t find a spot left because they fill in quickly!

The Lake of the Woods Association is celebrating its 50th year as a homeowners association in 2017. And the celebration continues all year long! While Lake of the Woods is a community that offers a substantial number of activities each and every year, this anniversary has added even more! As a matter of fact, a Lake of the Woods exhibit is now on display at the James Madison Museum in Orange through April 2, 2017.
