Skydive Orange is hosting this event from Friday, July 6th through Sunday, July 8th from 8AM to 9PM, daily. Location: Skydive Orange: 11339 Bloomsbury Rd, Orange VA 22960
That means 3 full days of jumping from a plane. Whether you are experienced with skydiving or not, this is a great opportunity for skydiving veterans or beginners.
There will be Fireworks Saturday night at Booster Park (which is right across the street from the event).
Bluegrass Saturday night will be performed by Ragged Mountain String Band.
There will be plenty of brew to go around the campfire Saturday night as there will be 2 breweries in attendance!
Wigglestick Barbecue will be serving food all three days!
For one day ticket is: $35 per person

43rd Annual Downtown Orange Street Festival!
When is this happening you ask? This event will take place from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, September 8th along Main Street in down Orange VA. This festival is free and completely open to the public.
There will be many different vendors that include artwork, handmade crafts, specialty food and drinks!
You can also enjoy the live music and beer garden in Taylor Park between 11am and 4pm for alcoholic beverages.
So come walk through this festival and bring a chair to stay for the live music in Taylor Park performance TO BE DETERMINED.
There are benches in the park but come prepared in case you don’t find a spot left because they fill in quickly!

Free Admission for KIDS at James Madison’s Montpelier ALL SUMMER!
This will begin Thursday, July 5th and be valid through Friday, August 31st, 2018.
There will be free tours available to visitors every day of the week. Montpelier will offer it’s “Discovering Montpelier: A Family Friendly Tour,” that is an interactive tour for families that involves artifacts and documents and allows you to participate in kid-friendly activities including touring the House and the surroundings.
There will be other tours offered as well including specialty tours of “Madison and the Constitution” and “Dolley Madison and the Women of Montpelier.”
So if you’re looking for something kid-friendly and relatively cost-efficient don’t miss this opportunity available all summer! It’s a great family bonding experience and learning opportunity for all.

Liberty Mills Farm Summer Fest in Somerset VA!
Summer Fest will take place Saturday, July 29th from 10AM to 3pm at 9166 Liberty Mills Rd, Somerset VA 22972.
This Summer Fest will feature their popular “Flowers on the Farm” that allows you and your friends, family and children to pick your own buckets and bouquets for special “you-pick” flower pricing. Be sure to participate in the flower picking, you bring your own 5 gallon bucket and it will be only $20 to fill it with all the mixed flowers you can hold. There are 3 premium flowers that will be there, but the sunflowers and gladiolus are included in your bucket price. You can also build your own bouquet in a mason jar for $7.50. If you forget your bucket, they will be available for purchase for $7.50. Clippers will be provided by the farm.
There will even be yummy cantaloupes and watermelons to sample. Do you like to bake?? Participate in the Zucchini Bake-off contest. Not so good at baking? Try your hand…or mouth in the watermelon seed-spitting contest!
There will be a tractor powered ice cream machine, a farm market and grilled hot dogs during lunch.
There will be plenty of vendors to visit as well. You will have the opportunity to register for their “A-Mazie-ing 5K Race” which will take place inside Liberty Mills Farm’s Corn Maze on Saturday, October 1st.
