Pontoon Boat Rides Offered to Members
Would you like to enjoy an hour on the Lake this summer cruising on a pontoon boat? Generous LOWLINC volunteers have offered to give members and their guests a ride on their pontoon boats throughout the summer starting June 1, 2024. A very big “Thank you” to our volunteers who stepped up to provide these boat rides. John Rourke, John Beisheim, Rick Rappoport, Wilma Hood, Jeff Flynn, and Dick Delio. This is a new venture for us but one we hope will develop over the coming summers. If you have a boat but didn’t have time this year to offer it please think about the coming years.

LOWLINC Walking Program
Every Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Center and Sweetbriar Trail. Join members and volunteers every Friday for our Walk and Talk in the Community Center and on the walking path around Sweetbriar Park. August 5,12,19,26.
Luncheon at Miso Asian Grill, Fredericksburg
August 11, 12:00 noon. Come and bring your appetite for some really good Asian food. We will meet at the lower level of the clubhouse at 11:30 a.m. and transportation will be provided on the Bus. We have a limit of 14 on the bus, so please register early to secure a seat. The hosts are Joe, Vicky, and Carleen
Tech Talk – Online Privacy: Easy Steps to Protect Yourself Online
Wednesday, August 24, 1-2p.m. Community Center Meeting Room 2. The threat of scams, malware, and hacks on our devices has only increased over time. But so have the protections – if you take advantage of them. We will talk about the steps you can take to protect your phone, tablet, and computer from those who may be trying to access your private information. The group size is limited to 10 people. Yoder’s Country Market
Tuesday, August 30, 11:00 – 2:00 p.m., Join us for a bus ride to Madison to visit the popular Amish market – Yoder’s. Enjoy walking around the mini zoo, having lunch, and shopping for those yummy homemade treats to take home. We have a limit of 14 on the bus so register early to ensure a seat. We will meet at the lower level of the clubhouse at 10:45 a.m.
Riverside Dinner Theater – Wednesday Matinee
August 31, 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” a drama based on the movie. This event includes lunch, and the cost is $75 per person. Please reserve by calling 855-569-5462 or online no later than August 1 with payment made to LOWLINC. We have a limit of 14 on the bus so register early. We will meet at the lower level of the clubhouse at 10:30 am.
